This rod is suitable for both beginners and more experienced anglers and can be used in both fresh and salt water.

The casting weight is 10-40 grams.

Egense is located right next to high quality fishing areas in both the Limfjord and the Kattegat. As a result you can fish for sea trout all year round, and when in season, you can reel in a wide variety of other wonderful fish such as garfish, herring, mackerel, and numerous flatfish.

The coast in the area is shallow and can often have large beds of eelgrass, so to reach the fish we strongly recommend using waders, or to make sure you are clear of areas where eelgrass and seaweed grow right up to the surface.

WADERS AND WADING JACKETS

Our neoprene waders go right up to chest height so that you can wade deep in comfort. The felt sole also gives you a totally secure footing in areas with a lot smooth and slippery stones, meaning you can focus on your fishing.

A really good wading jacket when fishing along the Danish coast is must. It needs to be short, and the pockets must be large and sit high. This is exactly what our jacket gives you with two large chest pockets that make it easy to access your fishing tackle, along with 2 other zipped water-repellent pockets.

With these neoprene waders and a wind/rainproof wading jacket, you’ll enjoy a much warmer and more comfortable experience, getting the absolute best out of your fishing trip.

CRAYFISH NET

You can rent our crayfish net, bait box, bait/live bait, and clear plastic bucket with lid, which are perfect for freshwater crayfishing and saltwater crab fishing.

It is legal to fish with a crayfish net for signal crayfish for your own use if you have a valid fishing licence.

Please note that signal crayfish may only be transported in closed containers with lids, and that transport must be to the place where the crayfish will be immediately killed.

Our set includes a net crab trap, bait box, bait/live bait, and clear plastic bucket with lid that is perfect for freshwater crayfishing and saltwater crab fishing.
