Terms and conditions for renting gear, equipment, and tackle at Friluftsliv og Outdoorsport ApS.

1. Booking, payment, and cancellation.

Both booking and payment is made online at www.friluftslivogoutdoorsport.dk through our booking system (Gecko booking & administration) or by telephone on +45 91 54 10 70.

Friluftsliv and Outdoorsport rental terms and conditions:

Cancellation less than 48 hours before booking starts incurs a fee equating to 50% of the full booking.

Cancellation less than 24 hours before booking starts, or in the case of a no-show, incurs a 100% cancellation fee.

2. Liability, insurance, and damages.

As soon as the lessee has collected the equipment, the lessee is financially responsible for compensation for any damage liability etc., the lessee is responsible for the correct storage and use of the equipment in accordance with its usual use.

The lessee is fully responsible for ensuring that no one is put into any kind of danger at any point in connection with the use of the rented property.

If the rented item is damaged upon return – regardless of the reason – the lessee will be responsible for full compensation for the damaged item.

When renting a SUP board and kayak, a statutorily required life vest is included.

By signing the rental contract and/or online booking request, Friluftsliv and Outdoorsports rental conditions are accepted.

The lessee is solely responsible for damage to the lessee themselves, the lessee’s belongings or to the property of third parties. The lessee is liable for such with their own liability insurance.

Rental of equipment is at your own risk.

When and by booking equipment, the lessee is seen to be declaring to have all valid and necessary insurance(s).

3. Collection and return of equipment.

Upon collection, a valid order confirmation and/or email must be presented.

All gear, equipment and tackle are to be collected at and returned to Kystvej 70 Egense, 9280 Storvorde, within the agreed rental time and within the opening hours of 8am to 8pm unless otherwise agreed in advance.

In case of late returns, a fee corresponding to 1 extra day's rent is charged as a minimum, unless otherwise agreed - if you are delayed in any way, please contact us as soon as possible on +45 91 54 10 70.

All gear and equipment must be returned in the same condition as when received.

If the rented item is not returned – regardless of the reason – the lessee will be charged the full new price of the replacement equipment on top of the full rental amount.

The rented item must be returned clean, dry and in good condition.

4. In the event of non-cleaning of gear and equipment, a cleaning fee will be charged

For example:

Cleaning of campfire equipment/cookware per individual part: DKK 75.00

Cleaning of SUP board/kayak per item: DKK 100.00

5. Personal information and registration of data.

When you book on Friluftsliv og Outdoorsport's website, as a minimum you must provide your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This information is necessary for us to process your order in the booking system.

We use Trustpilot to collect reviews of your booking experience.
